Workshop on quantitative data analysis was organized for second semester MBA students on 10th October 2022. Research is the systematic and objective process of gathering, recording and analyzing data. It helps in appropriate and meaningful decision making and gain insight into the happenings of the society. It requires scientific knowledge and skill to collect data and to discover all that could be known about the subject under study. To keep pace with the recent advancement in any discipline, one has to be well versed with the latest developments in research methodology. Though there are a number of statistical packages available, the researchers need to equip oneself with necessary skill to use them effectively. The workshop organized provided students an opportunity to explore dimensions of quantitative data analysis like univariate and bi- variate analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis. The session also focused on hypothesis testing and interpretation. It was a half day workshop where more than 180 students attended.
