Mentoring Session on “Lean Start-up Minimum Viable Product/Business”
AIMIT organized a mentoring session on Lean start-up minimum viable product/business under the aegis of Institution’s Innovation Cell(IIC) for Highflyers batch. 120 students attended the session and got benefitted.
Origins and Significance:
- To promote entrepreneurship.
- To introduce the students about the topic, Lean Start-ups.
- To explore the ideas of start-ups and know the process of MVP development process.
About the program:
Leans means cutting down the cost in the Japanese context. Minimum Value Product concept was discussed in detail. The speaker emphasized on process of lean start-up development and its principles. The process of Build, Measure and Learn was discussed thoroughly. The lean start-up principles by ERIC were taught. The MVP (Minimum Value Product) concept was explained with the live examples like UBER, Amazon, Instagram and Spotify.
Program Outcomes:
- Students got the idea about lean start-up.
- Students were able to understand the concept with help of real examples.
- The topic was motivating the students to explore new ideas on start-ups.
Conclusion:
The session was very relevant and informative to the current scenario. The session ended with the Q & A session and lots of interaction with the resource person
