Placement Cell

The Placement cell at AIMIT provides an interface between students and industry by assisting students with Industry internships and final placements. The cell builds relations and networks with Industry professionals from across multiple sectors. The Placement cell is dedicated to advising the students on career options and providing them with the latest information on Industry internships and final placement opportunities. Apart from these facilitation services, the cell arranges training and industry interaction sessions and maintains a strong alumni network.

Students are closely involved in the activities of placements – which include publication of placement brochures and other literature, interaction with recruiters, working out placement strategies and scheduling activities, maintaining resume banks, etc. The exposure to this complete process helps to develop their Participative Managerial Effectiveness (PME)

At AIMIT, companies visit for campus recruitment process commence from the mid of the 3rd semester (October onwards). Hence, students must be ready by the beginning of the 3rd semester.

  • The Training and placement cell organizes various career development programs to equip the students for campus interviews.
  • Arranging Orientation programs for first semester students and counselling them about the necessity of attending training session before campus selection.
  • Extensive Pre-placement training programs for Pre-final and Final Semester students.
  • Guiding student to sharpen their resume writing, body language and facing the interviews etc.
  • Conducting Mock/Simulated exercises on continuous basis for Pre-final and Final Semester students in Aptitude, Group Discussion, Technical and General interview skills etc.
  • Batch-wise counselling for students on career-related problems on daily basis by the mentor faculty in the campus.
  • Conduct of guest talk and workshop on Personality Development and on Higher Educational Prospects on regular basis by inviting eminent consultants from reputed organizations.
  • Organizing Industry Institution Interaction programs with corporate sector to bridge gaps between company expectations & academic learning.
  • Sending the students to different Job Fairs organized by the external agencies and organizations to get awareness and competitive spirit.
  • Arrange Internship Projects to the students and mapping them with the same companies for final placements.
  • Arrangement of Foreign Internship projects to develop their global leadership skills.
  • Semester-wise training programs on Personality Development are arranged in the following aspects:
