INDUSTRIAL VISITS TOIIHR
The students of 1st & 3rd Semesters MBA, had visited ICAR- Indian Institute of Horticulture Research, Hessarghatta Lake, Bengaluru, National Horticulture Fair-2023. On 25th Feb 2023. Exposure of the Exhibition is, as per Academic activity norms set by the Bangalore City University.
The purpose of the Visits was to inculcate the Opportunities exist in Horticulture sectors with varieties of plants both Decorational & Medicinal plants , fruits , flowers ,which can be raised in the available space and also Marginal Farmers short crops that fetches good returns The students had detailed interactions about the different horticulture plants raising , commercial benefits, Useful of Medicinal Plants .IIHR Scientist are ready to extend short term Transfer of courses to in groups of 20 .
The Plants which were suitable to climatic and soil wise was brief. The Fruits-Drogin, Kiwi, berry Tomato raising in tree. Varieties of Medicinal plants, fruits & Commercial crops were explained. The Exposure to the National Horticulture Fair 2023-Innovative Horticulture for Self Reliance was Eye Opening, has gained the Exposure &Opportunities in HORTICULTURE Sectors.
