INTRA-INSTITUTIONAL BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION

Adarsh Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) held an exhilarating Intra-Institutional Business Plan Competition in the institute’s auditorium. The event, organized by the Innovation Council as an IQAC initiative, took place on May 30, 2023, from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. The competition attracted immense interest and active participation from faculty members and first-year MBA students.

The program coordinators, Dr. M. Gurusamy and Prof. Rashmi N, distinguished council members of the Innovation Council at AIMIT, were instrumental in orchestrating the successful execution of the event. Dr. Lakshminarayana N, the President of the Innovation Council, and Dr. R. Venkataraman, the Director and Principal of AIMIT, graced the occasion with their presence and unwavering support.

The competition aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their entrepreneurial talents and present innovative business plans. A total of ten teams, comprising passionate and creative minds, participated in the event. The teams demonstrated their strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and visionary outlook as they presented their business plans to a captivated audience.

The esteemed panel of judges, consisting of Prof. Vasudha Srivatsa and Prof. Udhaya Shankar, renowned faculty members at AIMIT, meticulously evaluated the business plans. The judges’ expertise and insight ensured a fair and comprehensive assessment process.

After careful deliberation, the winners were announced to an excited and expectant crowd. The first prize was awarded to Team Keerthana G S, Nanjunda Prasad, K V Suresh, Kiran Kumar, and Mohammad Umar for their outstanding business plan. Their innovative ideas, meticulous execution, and strong market analysis left a lasting impression on the judges.

The second prize was secured by Team Sanjay URS, Rogeth, Priyanka, and Pavithra, whose business plan showcased a comprehensive understanding of the market, competitive

 

strategies, and financial projections. The judges commended their attention to detail and the potential for success in their proposed venture.

Prajwal HN claimed the third prize with his noteworthy business plan, which demonstrated a unique perspective, well-defined target audience, and a solid value proposition.

The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with faculty members and first-year MBA students attending in large numbers to support their peers. Their enthusiasm and engagement fostered an atmosphere of encouragement and inspiration throughout the competition.

The student coordinators, Nivedhitha M, Rok Meht, Prashanth R, Prajwal HN, Hrushwanth, and Likith Gowda, played pivotal roles in ensuring the smooth organization and execution of the event. Their commitment and dedication contributed significantly to the success of the competition.
