On the occasion of ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ฒ,ย Young Indians (Yi) Bengaluruย Health Vertical initiated a series of impactful blood donation drives throughout the week. The collective effort was dedicated to supporting children affected by Thalassemia, as Yi firmly believes in the power of giving back to society.
The spirit of compassion and generosity was further amplified by the enthusiastic participation of ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ of AIMIT. Their active involvement not only allowed them to align with a meaningful cause but also provided them with valuable exposure to the corporate world.
The event was conducted at seven different venues, different date and the venues are Bangalore International Airport Ltdย , OSB India Private Limited,ย Swiss Re,ย NKP Empire Ventures Pvt. Ltd, andย Essae Teraoka Private Limitedย graciously hosted these noble drives. Their unwavering support played a crucial role in making these initiatives a resounding success.
Objective of the Event
- The objective of the Blood Donor Day is to raise awareness about the importance of regular blood donation and to appreciate voluntary blood donors for their life-saving contributions.
- Main aim is to encourage people to donate blood, educate them about the benefits and need for blood donation, and debunk myths and misconceptions around blood donation.
- The day also serves as a platform to highlight the critical role of blood donors in healthcare systems and to advocate for the availability of safe and quality blood and blood products for patients in need.
Thirty students from Adarsh Institute of Management & Information Technology, Bengaluru voluntarily took part in the blood donation camp and made the event successful event.
Thanks to the selfless contributions of all the Yi members and students of Adarsh Institute of Management & Information Technology and the remarkable support received, a staggering total of ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ were donated. These donations will go a long way in bringing hope and healing to those in need, fostering a healthier and more vibrant community.
