YUVA (YiBe) Accessibility Etiquettes Session
On 5 June 2026, the Day Celebration Club (DCC) of Adarsh Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) organized a World Environment Day Celebration to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices among students. The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. R. Venkataraman, Director & Principal, with Prof. Rishikeshav and Prof. Harshitha M. serving as the program coordinators.
The event emphasized the importance of environmental conservation through a Natural Color Painting Competition, where participants created artworks using naturally extracted colors obtained from flowers, leaves, vegetables, and other eco-friendly materials.

Various real-life examples and interactive activities helped students understand the importance of respectful communication, empathy, and removing barriers that hinder participation. The session emphasized the role of young individuals in fostering an inclusive environment for all. Students actively participated in discussions and shared their perspectives on accessibility challenges and solutions. The session successfully enhanced awareness and encouraged positive attitudes towards inclusion and accessibility.
