10th Installation of the President & Office Bearers – Rotaract Club of AIMIT (Spartans Batch), RY 2026-27

The 10th Installation of the President and Office Bearers of the Rotaract Club of AIMIT (Spartans Batch) for the Rotary year 2026-27 was held on 25-09-2026 at 10:30 AM in the Business Lab, AIMIT. The event was organized as an IQAC initiative of the institution and was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Bangalore West.

The programme was led by Rtn. Rajesh M S, President, Rotary Club of Bangalore West, along with his team comprising Rtn. Pradeep and Rtn. Avinash A, Youth Service Directors, Rotary Club of Bangalore West, who conducted the installation ceremony. Dr. R Venkataraman, Director and Principal, AIMIT, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The programme was led by Rtn. Rajesh M S, President, Rotary Club of Bangalore West, along with his team comprising Rtn. Pradeep and Rtn. Avinash A, Youth Service Directors, Rotary Club of Bangalore West, who conducted the installation ceremony. Dr. R Venkataraman, Director and Principal, AIMIT, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The programme was also attended by PHF PDRR Adv. Rtn. Kiran S I S, District Youth Service Director, RI District 3192, and PHF PDRR Rtn. Naveen Sennia, District Rotaract Committee Chair, RI District 3192 (RY 2026-27). New members of the Spartans batch were formally inducted into the club by PP. Rtr. Rakeshith K Shetty, District Rotaract Representative Elect, RI District 3192.

The outgoing President, Rtr. Hitesh B, and outgoing Secretary, Rtr. Lavanya G, were felicitated for their contribution during the previous term, following which the incoming President, Rtr. Sridhar Krishna K R, and incoming Secretary, Rtr. Yashaswini U, were installed into office by Rtn. Rajesh M S and his team, who administered the oath and formally handed over charge to the newly elected office bearers.

The session continued with an address by the Chief Guest and words of encouragement from the guests of honour, Rtn. Pradeep, Rtn. Avinash A and Prof. Gautam Shivaraj, Faculty Coordinator, followed by felicitations and photo sessions with the newly installed office bearers and inducted members. The programme concluded on a positive note with a formal vote of thanks, and the programme ended by 2:00 PM.

Objective of the Program

  1. To formally install the newly elected President and Office Bearers of the Rotaract Club of AIMIT (Spartans Batch) for the Rotary year 2026-27.
  2. To induct new members into the Rotaract Club of AIMIT and welcome them as active Rotaractors of the Spartans batch.
  3. To orient the incoming office bearers and members on their roles, responsibilities, and the Rotaract ideal of “Service Above Self.”
  4. To strengthen the association between the Rotaract Club of AIMIT, Rotary Club of Bangalore West, and Rotary International District 3192.
  5. To recognize and felicitate the outgoing President and Secretary for their service and contribution during the previous term.

6. To motivate students towards community service, leadership development, and professional networking through active participation in club activities.

Program Outcome

  1. The newly elected President and Office Bearers of the Rotaract Club of AIMIT were formally installed and empowered to lead the club for RY 2026-27.
  2. New members of the Spartans batch were inducted into Rotaract, strengthening the club’s active membership base.
  3. Ties between the Rotaract Club of AIMIT, Rotary Club of Bangalore West, and RI District 3192 were further strengthened.
  4.  Students gained greater awareness of leadership roles, service commitments, and professional networking opportunities through Rotaract.
