Cambridge University Skill Employability Training 2026
The Employability Skills Training Program was structured over eight days, each focusing on essential skills needed for career success. Prof. Sri Nanadan Murthy resource person trainee delivered soft skills to the students. The first day introduced students to traine soft skills through engaging activities like “Two Truths and a Skill” and a self-talk swap, setting the tone for the importance of attitude in the workplace. Subsequent days covered critical topics such as SMART goals, time management, emotional intelligence, and change management. Interactive exercises, including the jar demonstration and crisis-case sprints, facilitated hands-on learning and practical application of concepts. Participants also engaged in leadership challenges and social consciousness discussions, emphasizing teamwork and problem-solving.
As the program progressed, students refined their resumes and developed career roadmaps, bridging academic performance with real-world expectations.
The final days focused on public speaking, effective communication, and professional etiquette, culminating in a forest survival exercise that fostered team cohesion. The training concluded with reflective activities, encouraging participants to envision their future employment and celebrate their growth. Overall, the program effectively equipped participants with vital employability skills through a blend of theory, practice, and peer collaboration.
Objective of the Program
- To develop participants’ soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and adaptability, through interactive activities and practical exercises that emphasize the importance of attitude in the workplace
