Pre-placement Process
These programs are designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry and are important to enable the students to achieve their career objectives. Students are also provided with career counselling, mapping, and mentoring sessions to help them make informed career decisions.
The pre-placement training is divided into 3 components: functional domain-specific skill development training, soft skills development, and activities to make our students socially responsible citizens.
Campus Recruitment Process
- The Training and Placement cell receives the requirements from the companies which are formalized and circulated to the students through emails and WhatsApp placement groups and also displayed on the College notice board.
The companies are divided into the following categories
Category-A: Companies offering CTC >= Rs 4-6 LPA,
Category-B: Companies offering CTC >= Rs 2.5 LPA; but CTC <Rs 4 LPA,
Dream Offer: Companies offering CTC >= Rs 8 LPA
- Students should nominate themselves through the nomination forms based on the eligibility criteria.
- The company or the Head – placement & Training AIMIT will present a pre-placement talk detailing the company profile, the job description, and the selection process.
- The students are shortlisted based on the company’s requirement and job specifications
Eligibility Criteria for participating in campus recruitment
The students are required to have
- a minimum of 90% attendance in academic classes & all traini g programs conducted through the Placement cell and College
- successfully completed a minimum of Five certification programs conducted by the college and through self in different portals.
- 90% attendance in all placement training sessions (Failing to do so will be left to the Final discretion of the Placement Cell)
Eligibility for the individual companies depends on their recruitment criteria.
