A knowledge-sharing session on “From Ideas to Impact: Building the Innovation Mindset” was organized in association with CII-YI YUVA Bengaluru, an initiative of the IQAC, on 3rd July 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Adarsh institute of management & information technology (AIMIT). The session was led by PRIYA MODI valuable insights on innovation, future readiness, and purpose-driven leadership.
The speaker emphasized the importance of developing an innovation mindset to succeed in the era of Future 6.0, where technology, creativity, and human-centered solutions play a major role.

The session highlighted that innovation is not limited to creating new products but also involves solving real-world challenges with practical and scalable solutions.
The session also introduced the principles of Design Thinking as a structured framework for innovation. The four major pillars discussed were Empathize, Ideate, Design, and Test & Prototype. In the empathize stage, understanding stakeholder needs and challenges was emphasized. During ideation, participants learned to generate multiple ideas and prioritize them based on feasibility and impact. In the design stage, ideas were converted into structured plans with clear inputs and outputs. Finally, in the prototype and testing stage, concepts were validated through peer collaboration, feedback, and feature analysis.
The speaker further explained the importance of breaking down complex issues into solvable components, gaining exposure to real challenges, practicing design thinking and systems thinking, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring scalability and practicality in solutions. These approaches help individuals transform ideas into actionable outcomes and build sustainable innovations.
Overall, the session was highly interactive, informative, and inspiring. It motivated students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills while preparing themselves to become future-ready innovators and leaders. The event successfully created awareness about innovation with purpose and encouraged participants to contribute positively to society.
